Dr. Amol Sawant*, Dr. Chattragun Lagad and Dr. Dilip Wadodkar

Phytochemicals from medicinal plants and various mineral drugs are showing antimicrobial activities, have the potential of filling this need. Diarrhoea and dysentery are the very common infections of GIT seen in all over world especially in developing countries like India. E.coli, Staph aureus, Entameoba histolytica, Shigella, Salmonella typhi etc. are common amongst them. Anandbhairav Rasa is one of them. Thus considering all above facts and references, present research work is carried to find out our hidden antibiotics like Anandbhairav Rasa.
