Because speech, mastication, and expression of moods and emotions are based on the ability to move facial musculature—be it voluntary or involuntary successful treatment of facial nerve paralysis is a vital concern. The sufferers of facial paralysis are increasing day by day. Major complications of the condition are chronic loss of taste, chronic facial spasm, facial pain and corneal infections. The oral medications prescribed for patients of facial palsy are steroids, which in turn causes severe side effects. Although most of the patients get recovery upto maximum extent, unfortunately, even with all current options for therapy, some cases of facial paralysis may never completely go away. For these people, Alternative therapy like Ayurveda must be tried Keeping this fact into consideration a case study which comprised of Ksheerdhooma Nasya, Kawala, Sthanika Pichu, Matravasti and Shirodhara was planned and it was proved to be a great success.
