CLINICAL TRIAL EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT SELECTED MEDHAYA RASAYANAS IN MENTAL DISORDER

. Abstract The present study was aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Ayurvedic brain tonic medicine, a polyhedral drug, and in patients suffering from depression, Anxiety, bipolar disorder, memory loss, insomnia. This was a randomized placebo –controlled clinical trial conducted on 70 patient of either sex with clinical and neurological evidence of mental disorder. A total of 70 patient aged in between 20-75 year were registered and randomly divided into two groups as the trial and control groups. the drugs were composition for 5. The trail drugs showed improvement in memory, insomnia and in should anti-stress; anti-depressant, and anxiolytic properties.
