Clinical biological science laboratory plays many vital roles within the management of microorganism infections. Isolation, identification of morbific microorganisms in cultures and ensuant antimicrobial status testing forever assists in choosing acceptable antimicrobial agent and interference of supernumerary complications. The foremost vital and first check to perform directly on some special samples like bodily fluid and positive cultures is Gram staining that is the foremost speedy and simplest check to characterize microorganisms. it's so extremely possible that the data provided by the Gram staining can facilitate to assess the adequacy of preliminary designation and antimicrobial medical care elite once assembling culture specimens and before final identification of the being. In recent reports, the impact of Gram staining results on patient mortality has been documented.
