Abstract

The objective of this research was the development of poly-herbal hand wash using Methanoic extract of Mimosa pudica, Tridex procumban leaves and lemon juice. The physical parameter of the two formulations of hand wash, including appearance, PH, viscosity, foam height, and stability, were examined. The antimicrobial activity of prepared formulation of hand wash was checked against skin pathogens by well diffusion method. When compared to the conventional antibiotic medicine (Amoxicillin), the developed formulation of poly-herbal hand wash formulation showed a considerable zone of inhibitions. Therefore, this plant material may be utilized to produce poly-herbal hand wash on a large scale.
