A CASE STUDY ON ROPANIYA KARMA OF KAMPILLAKA TAILA ON NON HEALING ULCER

Abstract

A non healing ulcer is a sore or wound on the skin or mucous membrane that fails to heal within normal time frame despite treatment. They may be due to poor blood supply, diabetes, infection, chronic pressure, venous insufficiency, poor nutrition.[1] According to Ayurveda Non Healing Ulcer corelates with Dushtavrana and hence Ropana (healing) with Kampillaka Taila can be beneficial. We hereby report case of 40 year male patient working as a shopkeeper had complaints of wound over left foot since 1 months visited to GAC & H Dharashiv who failed to get cured by variety of treatments at private hospital with different pathies. After though examination and relevant investigations patient was diagnosed as non healing ulcer. Ayurvedic management done as application of kampillaka taila as it works as ropana. Ayurvedic management was planned and treated accordingly positive results were observed that are narrated in the given presentation.
