Abstract

Rasashastra is a branch dealing with mercury and other processing metals and minerals for the provide health and rejuvenation. Rasashastra literature has a huge history from the Vedic grantha to recent grantha rasatangini. Rasapradip is a book based on rasaushadhi processing along with formulations as well as purification and incineration methods. In the present Research work, the formulations were critically analyzed and categorized according to the mode of action of the formulations. also goes through the methods of purification and incineration to know their importance in rasa pharmaceuticals. After complete analysis of this book it can be concluded that this book is beneficial for academicians as a unique reference and plan for research protocols, for practitioners and Rasashastra pharmaceuticals to promote processing and utilize these unique formulations clinically.
