Dr. P. R. Logeshkumar*, Dr. S. K. Senthilkumar, S. Jeevitha, C. Kamalesh, Pa. Kamaliya3, S. Kamalraj, M. Karthikeyan
Abstract Morpholine is an important heterocyclic compound widely used in medicinal chemistry due to its favourable physicochemical properties. Recent studies have shown that morpholine and its derivatives exhibit significant antimicrobial activity against a variety of pathogenic microorganism including Gram positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as fungal strains. Structural modification of the morpholine ring has been reported to enhance the antimicrobial efficacy and selectivity. Owing to its good solubility, stability. And bioavailability, morpholine represents a promising scaffold for the development of novel antimicrobial agents to combat increasing drug resistance. Keywords: .
