BROKEN TRACHEOSTOMY TUBE PRESENTING AS TRACHEOBRONCHIAL FOREIGN BODY: A RARE CASE REPORT

Abstract

Fracture of tracheostomy tube is a rare entity. It can present as tracheobronchial foreign body and can lead to fatal airway obstruction, if not intervened timely.[1] Only few case reports of fractured tracheostomy tube have been reported so for in the literature. We are presenting a case report of fractured tracheostomy tube wich was stuck at carina and into left main bronchus.
