Abstract

Rasashastra is ancient medicinal science, there are several categories of drug used in Rasashastra. Lauhakalpas are one of them, widely used as therapeutic agents. Tapyadi lauha is the kharaliya rasayana which is used in various pittadosha and rakta dhatu imbalance diseases such as anaemia, jaundice, paralysis, inflammation, amenorrhea, diabetes etc. It is effective medicine on diseases of body as well as mind.
