YOGRAJA GUGGUL- A GUGGULU FORMULATION

Abstract

Yograja guggul is widely used formulation which is a guggulu formulation where main ingredient is guggulu i.e. Commiphora mukul which forms a excellent binding agent. It is prepared by agnisiddha method and rolled into pills. It is used in many diseases like amavata, adhyavata, kushta, pliha, gulma, udara, anaha, sandhivata, majjagata vata etc. There are many references of yograja guggulu some of them are Sharandhara samhita, Yogratnakara, Bhaishajya ratnavali, Gadanighraha, etc.
