Abstract

Folliculitis is an inflammatory disease caused by bacteria ,viruses, rarely by fungi and other occasional causes. It can be diagnosed by a pustule formation on the follicular region. The symptoms may include itching and burning. Complications may raise eventually like an abscess formation. This article also comprises of risk factors, types of folliculitis, clinical features, treatment and prevention of a brief view.[2]
