PHARMACOKINETICS OF CURCUMIN: PROBLEMS AND PROMISES

Abstract Turmeric is one of the most commonly used in India. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is most commonly used for its biological and pharmacological properties. Turmeric most commonly used spice, food preservative as well as a colouring agent in kitchens like India, serve that it possesses anti-cancer property, useful in eosinophilia, in wound management etc. It Curcumin is the core curcuminoid of the corm of turmeric.
