Abstract

Parietal endometriosis is defined by the existence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity and specifically at the parietal level. Its diagnosis is not easy, and the pathophysiology is still poorly understood, but several theories have been proposed. The treatment of these lesions is based on careful surgical excision and is also broadly based on prevention during cesareans.
