Abstract

ISOLATION AND PURIFICATION FOR DIFFERENT CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS FROM CAPPARIS CARTILAGINEA

Abstract

Capparis cartilaginea, a plant belong to the family capparidaceae. It is characterized by a particularly wide spectrum of different plant constituents. Many compounds have been isolated, identified & structural elucidation of four new founding compounds, di-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-Hydroxy-phenyl-acetic acid, D: A-friedo-oleanan-3,2 1-dione & Stigmast-22-en-3-ol from Capparis cartilaginea by spectral and chemical methods is described.
