Komal Chinchulkar* and Swati Gajbhiye
Abstract Thermal skin aging refers to skin aging induced by heat shock treatment for the skin. Temperature of the skin represents ambient temperature and serves as a feed forward signal for the thermoregulation system. Thermal skin aging signals from the hairy skin represent a temperature of the insulated superficial layer of the body and provide feedback to the thermoregulation system. In thermoregulation, these organs are primarily effectors. The properties of apple mint in thermal skin aging has yet to be investigated in detail for anti-thermal skin aging activity of extracts of apple mint leaves (Mentha suaveolens Ehrh.), Mushrooms (Albatrellus ovinus) and their ingredients have been known to be beneficial to the skin care. These herbs can be used in aging treatment process for its anti-thermal property. The present review gathers information on “Apple mint extracts and Mushroom extracts” and similar other herb extracts which likely to have similar properties with it’s amazing benefits against anti-thermal, anti-aging activities that can be used. Keywords: Apple mint, Anti-aging, Anti-thermal, Extracts, Mushroom, Thermoregulation, Thermal skin aging. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
