FERROUS SULPHATE AS GREEN CATALYST ONE POT SYNTHESIS OF HETEROCYCLES

Abstract Now a day’s Multicomponent reactions are most important in organic synthesis. Many of this involved use of the various catalyst. Most of these catalysts are recyclable catalyst. In this we have develop the simple green method for the synthesis of various heterocycles such as β-acetamido ketones and the 3, 4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones are used synthesized. In this β-acetamido ketones and the 3, 4- dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones are most important components or root for the synthesis of various pharmaceutically active component. We develop simple catalyst such as ferrous sulphate under grinding with pestle and mortar. This method having the simple reaction condition, very short reaction time, giving good yield and used for large scale synthesis.
