ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY (AKI) NEW THERAPIES

Abstract This review was set up to open a new prospect in the medical field, trying to cure a crucial clinical issue, with high mortality rates. "Acute Kidney Injury" (AKI), known formerly as "Acute Renal Failure" (ARF). These terms describe a quick decline in kidney function. Clinical therapies that have been used in the last five years was inducing an AKI or had uncompleted or ongoing research. That’s why some studies started animal experiments, Followed the known incidence Mechanisms for this disease. An off-label use for some drugs with contra-mechanisms, low-price, and worldwide availability, showed a significant reclaim of renal functions, in a histological assessment for animal AKI models.
