MAGICAL APPROACH OF PROBIOTICS IN COSMETIC

Abstract

Probiotics are living bacteria that are good for health, especially the digestive system. Probiotics have achieved popularity among consumers worldwide as a natural approach to maintain and restore human health. Most of the research studies on the benefits of probiotics in the gastrointestinal tract and internal application. In recent decades, it an innovative concept for cosmetics in topical application, to cure skin problems. Types probiotics are used in skincare formulation, they play an important role in cosmetics. This review explores the possibility of designing new strategies based on mechanisms and properties of probiotic, namely anti- inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-bacterial, UV radiation control, an inhibitor of melanin synthesis and use them as an active cosmaceutical in cosmetics preparation like Anti- acne, Anti-wrinkle, Anti-aging, Dark circle, Deodorant, and Disinfectant products.
