Abstract

From ancient time to present time ayurvedic medicine used thousand of pharmacologically active herb and species .each species belong to specific family and with different chemical, uses, therapeutic activity. As per recent development chemical analysis are applied to ayurvedic medicine. And converted to primary and secondary metabolites such as alkaloid, glycosides, tannins, resins, saponin, which are responsible for their pharmacological activity. Ayurveda is old science life of medicinal plant which has no side effects; over than allopathic treatment. The survey of Medicative plant conducted on area of paschim maharashtra. Paschim maharashtra belongs to pune district, sadalgaon where plant information collected. Paschim Maharashtra rich source of medicative plant give idea about 60 plant.
