Abstract In Indian philosophy, Dharm, Arth, Kam and Moksh are four Purusharth which depends on Arogya (health). Rog (diseases) hampers these four purusharth. To maintain health Ayurved has described three main pillars of life i.e. Ahar (diet), Nidra (sleep) and Brahmacharya (celibacy). Nidra is one of the main pillar of life.
