ROLE OF ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY

Abstract

Healthcare industries, regulated as well as semi-regulated markets are important in overall sales of the company. These countries are giving highest customers to the Indian Pharmaceutical companies. So, the countries are more concern about the quality of the product, they are importing. Especially in pharmaceutical products, the quality should be the most important parameter of the company because in pharmaceutical products, the little mistake can cause the major issue to the company as well as to the general public. The ISO standards are specially designed to make company more organized, quality conscious, and trustworthy to do business with. ISO certification can improve customer satisfaction, customer retention and acquisition. The standards of ISO are recognized globally and consumers will understand the pros of working with industries having the ISO certification. In fact, some of them only like to work with such firms, as it assures them the overall system is continuously under check and audit.
