INCREACING AGOENE COMPOUND OF Allium sativum L. USING (UV) LIGHT IN VITRO
Dr. Hashim K. Mohammed Al-oubaidi* Zainab Salim Hussain
Abstract The present study was conducted in order to increase the production ofsome Secondary metabolic compounds (essential oils) of Alliumsativum L. In Vitro. Secondary metabolic compounds quantitative andqualitative analysis using chromatography device with highperformance liquid HPLC and compared with the mother plant. Inorder to increase the production of secondary metabolites, (UV) lightused with exposure (0, 10, 20, 30) min. The results showed that the(10) min exposure to UV light led to high significant in agoenecompound. Keywords: Allium sativum L., UV, agoene. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
