DEVELOPMENT OF LYSOZYME NANOEMULSIONS USING BIO-OILS AS LIPID PHASE
Samir Bhargava*, N. V. Satheesh Madhav and Yusra Ahmad
Abstract In our research, Nanoemulsions have been developed using bio-oil from Sesame oil. The peptide encapsulated is Lysozyme. The formulations have been developed using Sesame oil- lipid fractions as the hydrophobic phase. Lysozyme, a hydrophilic enzyme was encapsulated inside nanoemulsified droplets. The isolation method of lipid fraction and characterization of fractions have been completed in our previous research. In this current and preliminary research, SOAM fraction of Sesame oil (SO) has been used for encapsulating Lysozyme. Formulations (FSL1-FSL6) have been developed using solvent evaporation method. FT-IR of stable formulations FSL6 have been compared with (FT-IR) drug. Hence, based on spectral and Invitro release studies. Keywords: Lysozyme, Nano emulsions, Sesame oil, Bio lipid.
