EFFECT OF CLIMATE CHANGE UPON WILD LIFE
Mitra Pal Singh*
Abstract In the present scenario a wide range of environmental problems has emerged. These environmental problems are in the form of global warming, deforestation, depletion of stratospheric ozone hole, the acidification of surface waters and the precipitous decline of biodiversity etc. Wildlife is defined as those animals that have not been domesticated by humans and for those plants that cannot be grown or cultivated. These are found naturally and also propagated naturally. For the cultivation of plants and domestication of animals, natural habitats is required. Climate plays a vital role in conservation of the biodiversity. Biodiversity is the variety and variability of life on the earth. Due to changes in the environment many plants and animal species are threatened with extinction. The destruction of their natural habitats and direct exploitation is also played a vital role to finish the wildlife from the earth. To maintain the biodiversity, government should implement the report of advisory committee framed by itself. The thoughts provided by our scientists, researchers, naturalists and environmentologists should also be implemented by the government. Less population will be creator of vast variety of animals and plants i.e. for better biodiversity, so government should make a population act to reduce the no. of men because man is the enemy of nature, whose needs never completed. It will provide a best climate. Keywords: Climate change, Wild life, Biodiversity. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
