A REVIEW OF TRIBHUVAN KIRTI RAS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO YOGRATANAKAR

Abstract

Tribhuvan Kirti Ras is effective Ayurvedic herbomineral product for treatment of Jwara. This herbomineral product acts on Ama, which is the main vyadhi ghatak in Jwara. As per ayurveda there are four vyadhi ghatak prominently in body. Ama, Kha vaigunya, Dosha and Dushya. Contents of Tribhuvan Kirti Ras are treating Ama along with all remaining vyadhighataks of Jwara. Yogratnakara mentioned that Tribhuvan Kirti Ras is best drug to treat all types of jwara. Major content of Tribhuvan Kirti Ras is Vyosha (Trikatu), that is Shunthi, Miri and Pippali along with Pippalimula helps to treat Ama. Other ingredients are helpful to cure all other Vyadhighatakas. This article represents the preparations, indications and role of Tribhuvan Kirti Ras in Jwara vyadhi.
