Abstract
Carcinosarcomas are rare and aggressive tumors of the uterus and carry
poor prognosis. It represents less than 5 % of all malignant tumors of
the uterine body. It occurs most often in postmenopausal metrorrhagia.
Preoperative diagnosis of Carcinosarcomas is essential to optimize
surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is the mainstay of treatment for
non-metastatic Carcinosarcomas. The prognosis depends on the stage
of the tumor surgery, which is often diagnosed at an advanced stage.
We report one case of uterine carcinosarcoma through which we
specify the epidemiological, pathological, clinical and therapeutic
support of Carcinosarcomas.
