COVID-19 ASSOCIATED MUCORMYCOSIS: A REVIEW

Abstract COVID-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which is a modern coronavirus. Systemic glucocorticoids are used to fight against severe coronavirus disease. Mucormycosis is an uncommon angio-invasive infection caused by the fungi Mucorales, which is often seen in immunocompromised patients. Some case reports and news are coming that in this COVID-19 pandemic situation some immunocompromised peoples and covid patients are suffering from mucormycosis and the case numbers are increasing day to day.
