Abstract Thepresent study evaluated extent of correlation between different methods used for evaluation of MTA‘s handling characteristics. A radiopaque calcium silicate cement (RCSC) was used as reference material and was mixed with three different liquids; Group 1 (distilled water), Group 2 (1% methylcellulose) and Group 3 (2% methylcellulose). Handling characteristics were evaluated by ISO 6876:2012 and ADA 57:2000 flow tests and manual mixing. Flow of Group 2 and 3 according to ISO 6876:2012 flow test was significantly higher than group 1(P Keywords: Mineral trioxide aggregate. Handling characteristics. Methylcellulose.
