CORRELATION OF OVERHYDRATION AND CREATININ IN PATIENTS WITH CKD 3
Goran Topi?*, Branislav Gaši? and Vlado ?aji?
. Abstract The group of patients examined in this study were predialysis patients with chronic renal failure (CKD3). A total of 40 patients were examined, of which 26 men or 65% and 14 women or 35%. To measure overhydration in patients, a BCM monitor (BCM) was used, which provides information on nutritional status in addition to data on hypervolemia. Since these are patients with CKD3 stage of renal insufficiency, they all had elevated serum creatinine values. The creatinine value was determined in the laboratory at the beginning of the study as well as one year after the observation, so we determined the values of overhydration at the beginning and one year after the beginning of the study.
