RECENT NANO TECHNOLOGICAL APPROACHES EMPHASIS ON LIPOSOMAL BASED NANO CARRIERS AND ITS FUTURE PROSPECTIVE IN TREATING SKIN CARCINOMA: A REVIEW

. Abstract Skin cancer is considered to be a fatal widespread human malignancy, as it damages the DNA inside skin cells, allowing the cells to divide and grow very quickly. Although the mortality status of skin carcinoma is low, but if it is not treated in time, it can be very fatal to human health. The current drug delivery of skin carcinoma is constantly under challenge, which as a result, the advancement in this field need to be further studied. By optimizing different drug delivery modules, its therapeutic efficacy is also evolving which focuses on delivery of the drug in specific site. The lipid- based liposomal Nano technological drugs is one of the most promising and emerging field in topical delivery of the drugs to the site of skin tissues, and also the comparison of intravenous route and its side effects in the human body are also focused for better improvement in the health sector. The review focuses on the recent advancements in delivery of liposomal based formulations in treating skin carcinoma and also its future aspects. Different ongoing innovations and formulations regarding topical creams, transdermal patches which are a promising new discovery are also discussed and various other liposomal based formulation regarding different cancer therapy are also focused for further development in cancer therapy.
