CONCEPTUAL STUDY OF SAMANYAJ VYADHI IN CORRELATION WITH SANKHKYA SAMPRAPTI W.S.R. TO CHARAK SAMHITA

Abstract

Ayurveda is an ancient science. There are many Siddhanta described in Ayurveda. Now a day’s many studies are conducting on these Siddhanta. The main aim of Ayurveda is to maintain the healthy state of individual and to treat the diseases. In Charak Samhita, Acharya Charak mentioned also characteristics of Vyadhi (disease) and Swasthya (healthy). Charak also describe type of diseases classification such as Samanyaj and Nanatamaj Vyadhis. Nanatamaj Vyadhis are only one Dosha is involve e. t. 80 Vataj, 40 Pittaj and 20 Shlemaj Vyadhis. Samanyaj Vyadhis are diseses of Tridosh involve diseases ex. - Astha Udara Rog, Vinshati Prameha rog etc. Acharya Charak in Sutra Sthan chapter n. 19th describe total 48 type of Samanyaj Vyadhis. In same references charak describe Sankhya Samprapti In Charak Nidan chapter 1. So I described here Samanyaj Vyadhis and Snkhya Samprapti are same or not. Because knowledge of disease, its types and Samprapti/pathogenesis are helpful to understand the diseases and its treatments.
