PAKSHAGHATA (BRAIN STROKE) A CASE STUDY

. Abstract Stroke is a common medical emergency and the second leading cause of death worldwide. In Ayurveda stroke is described as Pakshaghata. The present study is on a case report and management of stroke of a male patient aged 62 years with chief complain of fever, cough, unable to recognized family member from 2-4 days. He was diagnosed as stroke of left MCA (middle cerebral artery) infarct, sequelae of stroke, not specified as haemorrhage or infarction.
