A CASE REPORT ON HTLV1 INDUCED ACUTE T CELL LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA/ LYMPHOMA (ATLL)

. Abstract Adult T cell lymphoma (ATL), is a peripheral T cell neoplasm associated with infection by human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV). Adult T cell leukemia-lymphoma (ATL), according to the most recent World Health Organization (WHO) classification of lymphoid neoplasms, is defined as a peripheral T cell neoplasm associated with infection by the human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV), type I (HTLVI).[ 1] We report a case on HTLV1 Virus induced Acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia in a 54 year old male patient presented with epigastric pain, lethargy, loss of appetite, loss of weight (4-5 kg within 1-2 weeks) for 1 month.
