. Abstract Schiff bases are aldehyde- or ketone-like compounds in which the carbonyl group isreplaced by an imine or azomethine group. These compounds are very important in medicinal and Pharmaceutical fields because of their wide spectrum they are widely used for industrial purposes. This short review compiles examples of the mostpromising antimalarial, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory Schiff bases.
