Bulbule Laxman D.*, Thakre Shital B., Shingne Snehal S., Prof. Hemlata Bhawar, Dr. Sanjay Bhawar
. Abstract Finerenone is a third-generation nonsteroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist with higher mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) binding potential. Steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, when added to a RAS blocker, they helps to reduce proteinuria in patients with chronic kidney disease but may be underused because of a high risk of adverse effect. Finerenone is used to treat chronic heart failure (CHF) with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). However, this is the review compiling the medical uses and chemistry of Finerenone. Keywords: Kerendia, Mineralocorticoid Receptor, Antagonist, Steroids, Hormone, Diuretics. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
