FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO OF FLUCONAZOLE & KETOCONAZOLE

Abstract

Shampoo treatments are the most commonly used means of managing hair and scalp conditions. Modern shampoos are expected to be much more than mere cleansing agents. They are expected to not dry out the hair; to produce lather in hard and soft water and when applied to oily hair; to be non-irritating to skin and mucous membranes; to be chemically and pHysically stable; to possess conditioning benefits; to be biodegradable;and affordable. Shampoos have thus evolved into hightech products consisting of 10 to 30 ingredients that are combined in precise formulations to meet consumer demands. Here the formulation of Antidandruff shampoo with two antifungal Drug Fluconazole and ketoconazole were prepared. The Evaluation of the Antidandruff drug was done.
