AMLODIPINE INDUCED HYPERPIGMENTATION REACTION:- A CASE REPORT

. Abstract Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) medication that is commonly used in mild to moderate hypertension (HTN), chronic stable angina, and coronary artery disease. Its most common side effects are edema, flushing, and headache, but in this case, hyperpigmentation appears to be a side effect. A 60-year-old male with hyperpigmentation for 3 months and a known case of hypertension for 2 years, for which amlodipine was being used. In this case report, it is summarized that the patient recovered after switching hypertensive drugs.
