REVIEW ON SILVER SULFADIAZINE FOR THE TREATMENT OF BURN WOUND

. Abstract Silver sulfadiazine is an antimicrobial that is used for low density and saturated heat to prevent infection. Temporary evidence has found that some antibiotics work better and therefore are not generally recommended. Common side effects include itching and pain in the area of use. Other side effects include low white blood levels, allergies, yellowing of the skin, deterioration of red blood cells, or inflammation of the liver. Caution should be exercised in those who are allergic to other sulfonamides. It should not be used for pregnant women who are close to giving birth. Silver sulfadiazine is not recommended for children under two months of age. Silver sulfadiazine was discovered in the 1960s 151 Listed by the World Health Organization for essential medicines, the most effective and safe drugs needed in the health system. Available as a standard medication. Silver sulfadiazine has novel use as a cover for various catheters and endotracheal tubes.
