MANAGEMENT OF MUTRAGHAT W.S.R. CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE THROUGH AYURVEDA

. Abstract Mutraghat (Chronic Kidney Disease) is a progressive form of Renal Disorder. It is also called Chronic Kidney Failure. It’s sign and symptoms are often nonspecific. It may appear at the stage of irreversible damage, which includes Nausea, Vomiting, Loss of Appetite, Fatigue and Weakness, Sleeping Disorders, Changes in Urine Output, Decreased Mental Sharpness, Muscle Cramps, Pitting edema on Feet and Ankles, Persistent Itching, Shortness of Breath, Hypertension etc. It is an internationally recognized public health problem affecting 5-10% of world population. CKD is identified by Blood test for Creatinine, which is a breakdown product of muscle metabolism. Higher level of Creatinine indicates a lower GFR and as a result decreased capability of the Kidneys to excrete products. The modern method is not satisfactory for CKD treatment and has caused many adverse reactions. Hemodialysis or renal transplant is only treatment for CKD in Allopathic view. Many Nephrologists and experts advised for other suitable alternate therapy for that. Ayurveda is unique option among them. Ayurveda therapy is completely effective and causes minimal unwanted side effects.
