WHY WOUND FAILS TO HEAL?

. Abstract Wound healing process is an orchestrated sequence of four overlapping stages namely Haemostasis, Inflammatory phase, Proliferative phase and Remodelling phase. In every phase of wound healing, certain types of cells and mediators are involved to restore the normal tissue function. Also, for proper healing of wound these phases need to function in sequential way with the availability of all components required for wound healing. But there may be some factors which may result in delaying the wound healing process. This article narrates a concise report on factors causing the delayed wound healing. Keywords: .
