STUDY OF PRAMEHA AND ITS UPADRAVAS (DIABETES COMPLICATIONS)

. Abstract Prameha Roga which are twenty in number and occur due to vitiation of all three Doshas but have dominanance of Kapha Dosha. As pointed out by Avastha Bheda, the addition of Dasha Dushya can be noted. It is described by "Prabhootaavilamootrata". Prameha is Chirakaaleena (persistence) Vyadhi, which is Anushangi in nature. According to Sushruthacharya, it is one of the Astha Mahagadas. Madhumeha is manifested by the complex interaction between three types of Doshas and ten types of Dushyas. Doshas such as Kapha, Pitta and Vata and Dushyas such as Meda, Rakta, Shukra, Ambu, Vasa, Lasika, Majja, Rasa, Oja, Lasika are responsible for causality. Upadrava is a pathologically matched scene created by aspects responsible for major diseases. It should be Sthoola or Anu in nature. It will dicreases down by treating the principle disease. Prameha Upadravas can be divided into Samanya and Vishishta, Sthoola (primary) and Anu (secondary), Sthanika (neighborhood) and Sarvadaihika (general). The Kaphaja, Pittaja and Vataja Prameha signs are considered to have multiple medical levels and diabetes problems.
