QUANTUM-CHEMICAL COMPARISON OF THE PROTEIN AMINO ACIDS SEQUENCE BETWEEN SARS-COV-2 AND OMICRON
*Manuel González-Pérez
. Abstract Due to the rapidity with which omicron spread worldwide, some researchers worked hard on this topic. The objective of this research work was to compare with quantum chemistry the protein amino acid sequence between sars-cov-2 and omicron. The proteins of the spikes of sars-cov-2 and the omicron were characterized, respectively. Both sequences were taken from the NCBI electronic portal. This characterization was carried out with the "Modelo6000" (published on ResearchGate 2017). The AA histidine of the omicron increased by 40.74% in the genetic sequencing concerning the genetic sequencing of sars-cov-2. In general, there was a 7% increase in the omicron in its mutation compared to sars-cov-2. The increase in His generated efficacy of the omicron to evade the immune system and evade the efficiency of vaccines. Keywords: . [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
