Abstract

Currently green synthesis of nanoparticles has gain a lot of interest due to its safe nature. Where as metallic nanoparticles are considered as an class of functional materials. Here silver nanoparticles (AgNP) and gold nanoparticles (AuNP) represents one of the most studied nanomaterials and also the phytoconstituents involved are valuable and encouraging candidates for synthesizing green silver nanoparticle and gold nanoparticles. This review determines the materials through which AgNPs and AuNPs can be made such as drugs, polymers etc. Further it also elaborates on various plants used with gold and silver nanoparticles.
