. Abstract It is very common for Ayurvedic physicians to face the clinical cases who have already tried all other systems of medicines. Patients who don’t get significant result by getting treated with the alternative system of medicines’, in the end come to Ayurveda with a hope of some miracle to happen in this traditional system of medicine. This possess a great challenge for ayurvedic physicians because there is a very little ray of hope among such patients. One such case of Non- Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease came to OPDs of ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA. He was managed conservatively through ayurvedic medicines and proper pathya and apathya. After 14 months of the treatment, the patient is symptom-free and very much satisfied with the Ayurvedic system of medicine. These observations infer that Ayurveda has immense potential to come up as main system of medicine as it can prove to be a boon for the patients where the other systems of medicine fail or have limitations. This will save both, the most precious thing in life - Time as well as the Financial burden on the patients. Keywords: Ayurveda, traditional system, non-alcoholic fatty liver, pathya-apathya.
