Abstract

The global outbreak of novel corona virus-2019 is SARS-COV-2. It is a life threatening disease. India has one of the oldest traditional system of medicine such as ayurveda, siddha, approaches to treat and prevent the diseases. People believe that consuming herbal immuno modulator can prevent or even cure COVID-19, but the growing modernization affect the health of the society. Although inhibition of viral replication is considered as the general mechanism of the herbal extract. This review given an overview of the herbal plants in the treatment of COVID-19.
