Abstract

Vitiligo is a common auto-immune pigmentary long-term condition where white patches develop on any part of skin. It is caused by the lack of melanin in the body. The success rate in treating this condition in conventional medicine is limited and sometimes, treatment follows with side effects. Vitiligo have major impact on quality of life of patient’s many of vitiligo patients feel stigmatized and depressed by their condition Ayurveda has great potential to treat such autoimmune skin diseases. Here is a case of 10 year old female patient of vitiligo treated with ayurvedic management which include oral medication.
