IMPORTANCE OF YOGA AND AYURVEDA IN PREVENTION OF HEALTHY LIFE IN NON COMMUNICABLE DISEASE

. Abstract Yoga, as the best lifestyle ever developed, has potential in the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of prevalent lifestyle illnesses. The modern world is confronting a pandemic of lifestyle problems that require individuals to make deliberate changes. Humans can strengthen themselves and develop positive health through yogic lifestyle, yogic diet, yogic attitudes, and different yogic activities, allowing them to better endure stress. This yogic "health insurance" is attained through regulating stress perception, optimising stress response, and successfully releasing stress through various yoga practices. This review paper presents key findings from a recent study on yoga's benefits on lifestyle disorders. The majority of studies on yoga and cardiovascular and metabolic health have found favourable results. Yoga's lifestyle components (good food, activity, relaxation, and a positive attitude) as well as the psychosomatic balancing effects of pranayama and yogic relaxation may provide significant benefits. The core yogic principles beneficial in the management of lifestyle disorders are reviewed, including psychological reconditioning and the formation of proper attitudes; stress management; and the normalisation of the digestive system.
