Abstract

Herbal cosmetics have always attracted considerable attraction because of their good activity and comparatively lesser side effects. In the present work herbal lipstick and herbal lotion was prepared using almond butter and cashew butter as base. Almond butter is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibres while cashew butter contains good quantity of mono unsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids and magnesium. The developed formulation were evaluated for the suitable parameters and were found to have comparable properties as that of standard formulation.
