ETHNOMEDICINAL PLANTS USED BY SOME INDIAN TRIBES

Abstract The present communication pertains to the ethnomedicinal plants used for therapeutic purposes by some Indian tribes. In the present study, as many as 135 plant species are reported as an important ethnomedicines used by some tribals of Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and some other eastern parts of India.
